 SOME EXAMPLES OF QUANTIFIERS


EACH: We can use EACH for afirmative, negative sentences and questions; we use EACH only with contable nouns. Each, refers only one person 

Example

  • EACH person in the room received a gift.
  • The girl gave EACH girl friends different flowers.
  • They checked EACH book in the library.


A LOT OF: We use A LOT OF or LOTS OF  to refers to MUCH or MANY. 

Example
  •  She has a LOT OF friends
  • The kids were ate LOT OF candies
  • A LOT OF people travel alone
